Bullying & Cyber Bullying

Health & Mind Club

Bullying! What exactly is Bullying? Well it is a physical or verbal aggression that is repeated over and over again. Bullying leaves the victim feeling devastated, humiliated, depressed and sometimes even suicidal. With new technology comes greater disadvantages. And one of the main disadvantage is Cyber Bullying. Earlier, bullying used to be limited to school playgroups or street corners. But now due to cyber bullying, it can happen anywhere, anytime even in the safest place like home.

In more than 59% of the cases, the victim’s parents and the friends are not even aware about whether their son/daughter or friend is being bullied or not. It makes it really difficult for that person to control their feelings. They often become shy and stop talking to others and keep their world to themselves, which is not the right thing. They should try to open up to their parents, if not them then their closest friend or sibling. If they do not come up and tell what’s really bothering them, then there is no way anyone can help them. If you are in a situation where you are being bullied then either you should report them or confront them to the teachers. By keeping quiet, you are creating a silent world for yourself and other students who maybe next after you.

With the help of Health and Mind Club, we aim to help all such people and create an environment where people can freely communicate. Try to reach out to any member for help, we are always there for you.

Having good mental health is key to the healthy development and well-being of every child. Children need good mental health - not only to be able to deal with challenges and adapt to change, but so they can feel good about themselves, build healthy relationships with others and enjoy life.

It is said that you must treat your body like a temple and the greatest of pillars have the strongest of bases. If your body is that pillar then your mind is that base. The discourse around mental health in school has exponentially increased and the Health and Mind Club has played a massive role in making that happen. It gives me immense pleasure to be leading the club and encouraging our members to use the club as a catalyst for the mental well being of the school. We strive to stamp out the stigma and provide an all inviting, all accepting platform.

Ask us anything :)

Thanks! We will get back to you very shortly

Mental health is not a destination, but a process. It's about how you drive, not where you're going."
Mental health is equally important as physical health. It includes our emotional, psychological, and social well-being, which affects our day to day life.
The aim of the Health & Mind Club is to  ensure that we students have a healthy and positive mindset.
